Global law firm K&L Gates has advised MediaTek on the US$150 million sale and licensing of its discrete timing controller (TCON) assets and related technology to display driver IC design company Ili Technology (Ilitek).

MediaTek is a fabless semiconductor company for wireless communications and digital multimedia solutions with operations worldwide.

The Corporate deal team was led by Taipei partner Jacqueline Fu, with support from counsel Albert Wang and associate Pearl Kuo.
