8 November 2025

Global law firm K&L Gates has advised Strand Hanson Limited (as nominated adviser) and Allenby Capital Limited and Oberon Investments Limited (as joint brokers) on an oversubscribed placing, offer for subscription, and retail offer by Gelion plc, a global energy storage company.

The fundraising, which raised approximately £10.5 million in aggregate, included a £0.5 million retail offer via the Winterflood Retail Access Platform. The proceeds will support Gelion’s continued development of its innovative energy storage technologies and commercial growth initiatives.

The K&L Gates team that advised on the transaction was led by London partner James Green, with support from Rob Boughey and Anna Carter.

Green commented: “We were delighted to have worked with Strand, Allenby Capital, and Oberon on this successful fundraising by Gelion. This was the fourth fundraising for Gelion that we have advised on since 2021, when we advised on Gelion’s admission to AIM.”

K&L Gates’ Corporate practice is one of the most substantial in the legal industry, with hundreds of lawyers in offices across the globe, providing clients with practical legal solutions in the structuring, financing, and completion of domestic, international, and cross-border transactions.
