Director
Arief Wicaksono appointed as Director of Conflict Resolution Unit since September 2018. However, Arief has been involved in the development process of CRU through assisting in strategic planning activities, capacity building process as well as project improvement plan. Arief has more than 25 years of experience in land and natural resource management, Strategic Environmental Studies (SEA) and strengthen local communities capacities to be able manage their environment.
As the director of the CRU, Arief will lead the process of the institutional independence of CRU starting with preparing road maps and designs institutions towards independent conflict resolution institution.
Senior Advisor
Ilya Moeliono has more than twenty years of experience in various development program including participatory action research, conflict resolution, participatory planning and networking in Indonesia. He graduated from Cornell University with a thesis that focused on conflict resolution management. He had written several publications in natural resource management, conflict management, and participatory appraisal.
Ilya currently serves as Senior Advisor in Conflict Resolution Unit.
Program Manager
Faletehan Zainy graduated from a master’s degree in Civil Engineering in Construction Engineering at Syiah Kuala University. Familiarly called Aan, he has pursued a career as a program officer in several international development agencies such as UNICEF and UNDP and other civil organizations. Prior to joining the Conflict Resolution Unit (CRU), Aan was actively involved in implementing REDD + projects in Indonesia since institutional preparations until the establisment of the REDD + Agency.
At CRU, Aan acts as a program manager whom responsible for the implementation of CRU’s program.
Engagement Manager
Initiating his interest in conflict studies since in college, precisely when completing his studies in Department of Social Development and Welfare at Gadjah Mada University.
Prior to joining CRU-IBCSD, Ginanjar has pursued a career and gained 9 years field experiences in three different area: oil and gas, palm oil and coal. At CRU, Ginanjar will oversee the process of engagement and communication with CRU partners on the implementation of CRU programs.
Knowledge Officer
Having completed her studies in Enviromental Science Program at Graduate School of Gadjah Mada University, Rina is developing her interest in knowledge management and science-based communication for social change. Prior to joining CRU, Rina pursued career in international development agencies, communication agencies as well as privat sector. Rina also active in some community-based activities particularly in environment and sports.
Finance Officer
Beatrice (Mella) is a Finance Officer at CRU, where Mella processes payments from start to finish, including financial reporting to donor. She has more than 6 years experience in the area of finance. Mella has worked for a diverse range of organizations, including bank, NGO and private sector. Mella holds the Bachelor of Economics degree from Hasanuddin University Makassar.
Project Assistant
Prior to joining the CRU, Laras worked for the Akar Foundation in Bengkulu. She has also been involved in some socio-cultural research projects with the indigenous Rajang communities in Bengkulu Province.
Laras obtained her Bachelor degree in Indonesian Language and Literature from Bengkulu University.
