K&L Gates Bolsters Energy, Infrastructure, and Resources Practice With Melbourne Partner
29 April 2025Melbourne – Global law firm K&L Gates welcomes Matthew Osborne as a partner in the Energy, Infrastructure, and Resources practice, with a focus on project development and finance. He joins the firm’s Melbourne office from White & Case, where he was a partner in their Southeast Asia Project Development and Finance Group and Head of Philippines Country Group.
For nearly 25 years, Osborne has advised grantors, sponsors, JV participants, and financiers across the Central Asia and Asia-Pacific regions on the delivery of major power, infrastructure, and construction projects, particularly in the energy, resources, utilities, and transport sectors. This includes advising clients on complex regional projects, such as LNG to power, water, data, renewable energy, transport infrastructure, and energy transition supply chain projects.
Osborne also works closely with owners and investors in relation to significant M&A transactions and has practised in both Australia and Singapore.
