K&L Gates Earns Multiple First Half 2026 Global League Table Rankings Across Capital Markets, M&A, and Private Equity

18 September 2026

Global law firm K&L Gates has earned several recognitions in the first half 2026 industry league table rankings from Bloomberg, PitchBook, LSEG, The Deal, and S&P Global for its work across capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity.

Notably, the firm was recognized within the top 20 law firms advising on US Equity Linked transactions, landing at number 11 by deal count and number 13 by deal volume by Bloomberg. The rankings represent renewed recognition for the firm in this category and reflect the work of the firm’s Corporate and Capital Markets lawyers advising clients on equity-linked financings and related transactions.

“We are pleased to receive this recognition, which reflects the strength of our capital markets capabilities and the trust clients place in our team,” said David Bartz, co-head of the firm’s Capital Markets group. “Whether clients are considering an equity-linked financing, preparing to enter the public markets, or evaluating other strategic alternatives, we remain focused on providing coordinated, commercially informed counsel at every stage.”

The recognition comes as K&L Gates continues to provide companies and market participants with resources addressing the evolving public capital markets landscape. The firm recently introduced its IPO Pathways Comparison Guide, which compares considerations associated with different paths to becoming a publicly traded company. The firm will also host an IPO-focused webinar in October.
