K&L Gates Hosts Town Hall Featuring DOJ’s Fraud Initiatives as a Result of COVID-19 and How Health Care Providers Should Prepare

25 Agustus 2020

K&L Gates recently hosted a virtual COVID-19 Health Care Fraud Town Hall discussion featuring representatives from the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Attorneys’ Offices across the country. This forward-looking program focused on health care fraud enforcement priorities and the related national landscape surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, including CARES Act relief funding, False Claims Act liability, government investigations, price gouging, and the steps health care providers need to take to mitigate fraud risks during and after the pandemic.
